The Voice of Hope (CHOIR) Department
The Voice of Hope team in the RCCG NHA connects the people to God through worship and offers a wide variety of opportunities for church members interested in using their musical talents to serve the Lord. Our worship is intense and is aimed at connecting people to God though offering ‘true’ worship in Spirit and in truth. The team leads praise and worship during the services and special events, hymns and special numbers.
Prayer is the bedrock of our ministry. We thrive through prayers, survive through prayers and maintain our connection to God through prayers. Our services are prayers and worship focused.
We hold regular prayer meetings every Sunday from 8.00am to 9.00am, every Saturday from 7.00pm to 8.00pm on teleconference and prayer night every 2nd Wednesday of the month. Ushering
1 Corinthians 14: 40 “let all things be done decently and in order”.
With the firm belief that our God is a God of order, structure and decency, the Ushering department ensure the maintenance of order and decency in the Church. With highly dedicated workers with a knack for excellence, this department ensures the smooth and orderly conduct of the affairs of the church, warm welcome to new members and friendly assistance whenever necessary.

Welfare and Hospitality
The welfare department is to give support to those who are in need, whether it is financial support, food, visiting people in their homes to give them an encouraging word or mentoring them. We are our brother’s keeper and the burden of one is the burden of all. This department also ensures the well-being and comforts of guest ministers through the provision of food and refreshments. They also coordinate the food and refreshment aspect of all programs in the church especially operation feed the nation.
Teaching and Sunday School Department
This department is responsible for the teachings of the basics of the Christian faith. We use RCCG Sunday school manual and other useful material as our guide to study through the Bible. 2 Tim 2:2 – And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
In the teaching department, we partner with our divine teacher The Holy Spirit to reach and teach potential disciples of God in such a way that they have the greatest opportunity to become fully developing disciples of Christ. We offer in the main basic foundation leadership training in line with 2 Tim 2: 2 leading the new believer through the growth process to becoming a committed follower of Christ working for and advancing His kingdom here on earth.
Children Ministry & Teens
We provide age-appropriate Sunday school classes and Bible lessons and learning activities that encourage spiritual development for our preteen children and teenagers.
These classes are available for children from pre-school level teenagers, from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. We also provide fun and exciting programs that teaches and inspires the children to deepen their Biblical knowledge and specialty classes which instruct the children on various ways to Glorify God while having fun. A secured and comfortable environment and teaching also available for infants during all church services.
Couples’ Ministry
RCCG NHA Couples’ Ministry offers a place for couples of all ages to join for growth and refreshment.
The group occasionally holds seminars/workshops, provide pre-marital counseling and mentoring for engaged brethren and newly married couples.
Elders Council
This group is made up of brethren from forty-five years of age and upward. They act more as an advisory body to the church leadership with the word of wisdom from the elders. They fellowship together with the help of the Holy Spirit sharing the unique experience that comes with age. They are also vital in the conflict resolution process of the church.
Young Adult & Singles
Established to create a platform for empowerment and growth for young adults and singles in their spiritual, career, social and personal lives
Men’s Ministry
The men’s group of RCCG NHA is a ministry that provides a forum where mighty men of valor can plug in to be encouraged, empowered and mentored to take their rightful place in the society and in their homes thereby becoming all that God has called them to be. A godly man is a servant, divinely established by God to be a role model for their wives and children to follow. He is also the spiritual leader in the home.
The ministry aims to accomplish these by:
Bringing men to a saving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ
Equipping men to teach and serve others so as to be world changers for Christ
Growing men to be spiritually matured and be Christ-like.
The Deborah’s (Women in ministry)
RCCG NHA Women’s Ministry under the leadership of the Pastor’s wife, caters for the whole spectrum of needs of the women both married and singles. RCCG NHA Women’s Ministry supports every special event the church hosts and they organize special women conferences and meetings to address issues affecting the women and the family.
Are you searching for a group of women of like precious faith to prayerfully intercede the throne of God with you? Do you desire a solid Bible-based study? Are you a single mom needing fellowship, discipleship and ministry to your children? Are you the mother of a preschool child? Do you want to fellowship with other moms and would like to become the woman God has destined you to be? Then join the Women Fellowship of NHA every 3rd Saturday of each month, from 11.00am to 1.00pm. Prayer line every Monday from 7.00pm to 7.30pm.
Evangelism
This department is mandatory for all workers in the church, as we have been commanded by Mark 16:15 “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”.
First Timers and Follow-ups
This is established to engage new members, first time, visitors and those that have been away from the church for a period of time. To let them know they are appreciated and understand how the church could be of assistance. This team also calls, visits new members and provides information on how they can plug in to different small groups within the church to help strengthen their faith for growth. They agree with our First Timers in prayers on burning issues of their lives. They give bible-based advice where necessary and more crucial issues are directed to the Pastor for further counsel.
Publication
This is the department in charge of our monthly bulletin (Hope news) and church magazine. Each member birthday is published every month through these wonderful children of God.
Maintenance
This group maintain the tidiness of the sanctuary and environment as God has not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness.
Technology & Technical
Maintain network integrity, equipment reliability, and cost inefficiencies in the delivery of network operations and support services. Expand the use of technology in the church (do more with less).
